Bracken Bashing - Help Sought

Help is sought this summer from members and non members alike by the Aberfeldy Centre of the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

The Keltneyburn Reserve needs local volunteer help to stop bracken encroachment on to the meadow, which is rich in orchids and other wild flowers.

The dates arranged are: Friday 8 June; Saturday 16 June; Wednesday 27 June; Monday 9 July

Willing helpers are invited to meet at 10.30 a.m. on the meadow and to stay for just as long as they like. Tough gloves should be brought plus coffee and lunch should volunteers wish to enjoy a sociable picnic in wonderful surroundings!

Further info from: David Darling (01887 822 770), Kirsty Dickens 01887 820 863, or the secretary of the Members Centre, Margaret Jarvis (01887 820 988).
