Winter Mountaineering in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland

This will be a twin projector slide lecture by John Allen describing 40 years of experiences in winter conditions, including Glen Coe, Ben Nevis, the Cairngorms, the North West, Rum and Skye.
The event will be at the Locus Centre, The Square, Aberfeldy on Friday 25 March at 7.30pm. Tickets in advance (cash only, please) from Munros Outdoor shops, Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. Enquiries by phone 01887 820008.
This is a non-profit making venture with main proceeds to help conservation and landscape preservation in Perthshire and Scotland. Proceeds from a similar event in March 2004 by Jim Crumley and Cameron McNeish went to ASWAG, the group which is active against the present wind-farm proposals.
